Review: Benefit Benetint

My second review of benefit benetint! Didn't give much elaboration on the first one so i decided to make another for more details.:) Well, I've been using this product for a year and now on my second bottle...I can say that it's one of the best blush i have used! Without a doubt, It was voted "best blush" by Elle magazine in 2006 and was feautured in some magazines for being the best product.

I was pretty amazed the first time i used this, i was using tarte flush and bodyshop lip&cheek tint before and was satisfied with it until i tried this "Award winning and Benefit's best selling product", I was hooked instantly and become a fan of it!!!! At first i resisted to purchase this blush because of the hefty price tag. But the idea looks so promising, i gave in after hearing everybody saying this as the best lip & cheek tint in the market. And they're absolutely right! And now,i have my third bottle waiting when my second one runs out.:)

What I Love About It:

This "sexiest flush you can get from a bottle"has a naturally sheer and sexy on all complexions is buildable from the sheerest application to a bright flush. It work wonders on the lips too, It gives my lips a very natural red tint that suits in any occasion. Just by bringing a bottle of it can give you a pretty look that won't be needing a lot of makeup on. It has an overwhelming scent of roses, that smells pretty good on my cheeks, but it's a bit weird if i put it on my lips coz i can taste the rose petal of it-but i'm already used to it! so no problem bout that.

The Applicator resembles the brush of a nail polish.:) isn't cute??

Directions:

Apply three dots to the apples of your cheeks and blend quickly with fingertips. Add a few more dots for deeper color.

Pros:

-It stays put for a long time! A record for more than 24 hours of wearing it and the bright flush is still there.:)

-It has a water consistency that can easily absorbed by skin to prevent the greasy feeling after application.

-A bottle can lasts you a long time.

Cons:

-The glass container, it has danger for it to be shattered or broken if not handled properly.

-If the benetint isn't capped tightly it will leak all over your purse or makeup case, but if you do capped it too tightly the plastic lid will cracked ruining the sealing mechanism..you won't be able to bring it anywhere with you.

-Rose Extract: Some people may be allergic to it, be cautious and know the ingredients first.

-Pricey, 12.5ml bottle for $28

Tips & Tricks:

-It get dries quickly so blend it asap coz it may look uneven.

-Use a gloss after applying benetint on your lips, to prevent your lips from cracking or drying out.

-Don't use if you're suffering from acne/pimple, it will magnify it.

-Suitable for fair/medium skin tone.

Overall Verdict:

I'm head over heels with this blush! You just need to learn the right technique and you'll surely fall in love with it. I always apply benetint to awaken my complexion, the color looks good and natural on my skin. As for the lips, it has an effect of "eating a cherry popsicle stick". It clings on pretty good, and with it's long lasting effect i won't be needing to go to the bathroom for touch-ups from time to time. It's sheer tint gives you an innocent yet provocative glow that will surely will keep everone guessing “what has she been up to?”. Overall, I'm rapt with this product!

-I really love this product!! Before Applying use an eyelash curler first then apply the microfiber(it will make your eyelash appears a half longer) then apply the black one.:)

-I apply White eyeliner on my lower eyelids to make my eyes sparkles.:)

*Tips & Tricks

-Use the Black eyeliner on your upper eyelid, and white eyeliner to your lower eyelid.:) It gives a Big and sparkle eye effect.:)

FaceShop The Flower Mousse Foundation(NB21) 855php

-I don't apply often but i always bring this along with me, i use this whenever I'm suffering from pimples and blotches. It really covers and leaves my skin silky and nice.:)

Benefit Dr. Feel Good Sephora: $28

-I use this product whenever my skin is rough and dry, it really leaves my skin smooth and velvety.:) It comes with a sponge, just dab a little and spread it over your face and voila! an instant renewed skin.:) $28

Face Shop The Flower Dual Concealer(NB21) 600+php

-I use the lightest colortone of it because of my very fair skin. I just love the way it conceals my eyebags and other impurities in my face.

- I use this as my makeup base.:) This a really nice primer,it really has a brightening effect, it leaves my face smooth and silky finish.:)

-I really like this scent.:) It is a summery scent, fresh and citrusy.:)

Benefit Benetint-RoseTinted lip&Cheek Stain

Finally I have Benetint!:) I love this product so much! It gives me a perfect rosy glow. It's easy to apply, just apply 3 dots or swipe it in your cheeks then blend it quickly and Voila! It gives you a natural blush! You should also know how much to put on or otherwise you would end up looking like a clown. Benetint has a long staying power that can lasts you thrughout the day. As for the scent, benetint leaves a hint of rose on your cheeks which smells good. You can also put in your lips, it looks great but it's kinda weird because it taste like a rose petal. The product is a bit pricey but definetely worth it! It's like a trophy in my makeup kit, I would never leave the house without it.:)
