Been very busy for these past few months that i neglected my blog for quite a while. It feels good to be back and writing stuffs again. Haven't got the chance to try my new cosmetics yet, got them during the summer but i never bother to put anything on my face after all it will just melt away. So i only applied the usual stuff like sunblock, face powder, and lipgloss. That's it! Then during this rainy season i always stay inside the house and rarely go malling. So am planning to go out and just relax these following days and i'm so excited to try the stuffs i bought! Will be doing reviews again soon!:D

Urban Decay XL Primer Potion

Thank God! My UDPP has finally arrived! I 'm really glad that i was able to try it before the upcoming wedding reception of my cousin. I want to experiment with it first before appyling it in her Big Day. The Genie-In-A-Bottle packaging of this UDPP really caught my attention. But the raving & amazing reviews of every Magazine/Beauty Editors/Makeup addicts all over the world convince me to purchased this product.

It's really impossible for me to have the UDPP stacked along with my other cosmetics without having it's box included. It really looks good with it's whole package displayed in my makeup kit. It's like having a cool trophy displayed and you want to shout it on top of the world about it! LOL! Well anyway, as i was saying..this cool product really looks nice & of course after drooling over it for a couple of hours i decided to try it on my lids to test it first if it suits well and to see if there's an allergy reaction to it. But amazingly it looks nice, just by putting them alone can cover the dark areas of my eyes. So basically it's a 2 in 1, a shadow base and a primer.

Product Reviews:

The product is creamy & really concentrated. Just by putting a small amount of it can go a long way. It contains silicone, so it's s silky, not oily, smells a bit funny but who cares?! i won't be smelling it while it was on my lids right? Eyeshadows appeared more vibrant & pigmented that it really stand-out! It's easy to apply and it saves me time to apply eyeshadows cause i really don't need to apply lots of layer for the colors to appear strong & powerful. Just 1-2 swipes can already build the solid colors. I'm pretty impressed with the result, wearing the eyeshadows for 6 hours and the true colors were still there. No fading/Smudging/Creasing/Smearing while wearing them! It's really a good investment and nevertheless the best one in the market as most reviewer's claims. It holds the eyeshadow longer than i expected even in the midst of perspiration it still appears perfectly flawless. No retouch is needed if you have this amazing bottle with you, without having to constantly check a mirror to touch up your eyes.

Every good product has it's flaws. This cute packaging would one day be sliced open just to get the remaining stuff that clings on the side. It would be really impossible for you to get them all out just by using the old version wand(the straight one). It seems that it's empty but more than 60% are still remaining that you have to cut them open to scoop the remaining out..or otherwise it will be left wasted and a rip-off for paying $22 for a 40% worth of the product. I'm kind of expecting this to happen so i'm seriously looking for some site to guide me properly on how to cut this open. I was kind of hoping that if that day comes i would have the guts to destroy the precious packaging..I know i would be crushed. After all that what caught my attention in the first place. It sucks! One more thing, I felt like it doesnt grab enough of the product with one pull of the wand which i find it a bit dissapointing. I hope they could change this to a squeeze tube instead, same with their newly released Primer Complexion Potion. This Magnum bottle will definetely keep you looking gorgeous for months.

Pros:

-It's a magic! It fulfills 3 wishes: Eyeshadow that lasts, more vibrant color, absolutely NO creasing/fading/Smearing.

-Nice packaging

-A little of it goes a long way.

-Neautralizes my lids, can be used even witout eyeshadow. It covers the dark areas, it acts as a base. So basically it's a 2 in 1 primer.

-Neautral color that immediately gets invisible after application goes with any SKINTONE.

-Relatively affordable cosnsidering how long it lasts and it does the job right.

Cons:

-The packaging, specifically the wand is really a pain. It can't reach some of the stuff especially on the side, that in the end you have no choice but to cut it open to get the remaining out.

Overall Verdict:

Good buy! A Superior product that simply a divine to any makeup junkies! I willingly spend that much & undoubtely i was impressed with it. All you need is a little bit and you are set, dramatic eyeshadows can also be worn on a daily basis as you have this remarkable primer that could hold and extends it's wear. It keeps my eyeshadow looking fresh, perfectly in place and vibrant all day. I didn't regret buying this product as it was serving it's purpose and delivers good quality that leaves me satisfied. My only complaint is their packaging, hope they repackaged soon. The price is a bit pricey but it's an essential! Furthermore, I'm really glad i gave this a shot, makeup never looks so much better!

Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner Travel Sets!

Finally! My first review after few months of absence in doing product reviews! As you all know, after couple of weeks doing our household chores left by the Flood..I finally got the chance to try these 2 Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner Travel sets(VIP & Velvet Rope) which arrived a month earlier. I'm really really excited to try these on me, though the first time I had them i just tried them on the back of my hands to see the colors. And after seeing it, i can't wait to try them on my eyes!

What it is:

A dynamic eye pencil, in a rainbow of shades.

What it does:

Glide on color that stays put for the duration of your non-stop, on-the-go day! These cushiony, creamy eye pencils deliver powerful, vibrant color that slides on smooth and stays soft and creamy for blending (about 30 seconds), then dries to a long-lasting finish that won't budge. Line eyes with a hint of color or go for the full artistic, multi-hued effect. Truly inspired, these pencils go all day and all night.

They say:

You're always on the run, so Urban Decay gathered five of their best selling 24/7 eye pencils and shrunk them down to fit perfectly in your glove compartment, purse or boyfriend's medicine cabinet (he won't even know it's there). They're a bit cuter, but still just as creamy, blendable, and waterproof. For these 24/7 Pencil sets, “Best Selling” is an understatement! Full of bright tropical hues, the VIP set is back by popular demand. And, making its debut, the new Velvet Rope set features neutral shades that look amazing on anyone. Each Pencil is a slick travel size, making it easy to stash anywhere.

What else you need to know:

Created with 50 percent moisturizing ingredients suspended in a sophisticated waterproof formula, this brilliant collection of eye essentials offers long-lasting color and a dreamy, creamy feel when applied.

Personal Review:

The packaging is really really cute! I just love staring them all day! It was packaged together against a mirrored backdrop! With 5 dazzling shades of eyeliner pencils displayed. But unfortunately after trying them on my eyes they didn't lasts all day, it didn't even lasts all night! They are nice and well pigmented. I love how it glides easily along my lids without worrying of having my lids tugged hard just to fill up the colors. It's creamy texture makes it easier to apply, and the plus side of it; it dries easily that after application and tried blinking lots of times, it doesn't smudged or stick on top of my lids. The colors are really strong, just one light stroke can create a solid line. So far I'm enjoying these eyeliners but i have to reapply every 2-3 hours depending on the activities I'm engaged to. I live in a tropical country, so maybe it's one factor why it fades easily on me while others are raving how much it stayed on them the whole day. I've tried putting them with/without primer but still the result is the same. My lids are not too oily, maybe it's just not a good combination on my skin.

I've also tried them along my waterline and they fades and smeared. I just need to reapply and good thing i bought the travel size so these can easily fit in my purse. So basically it's not waterproof. But it doesn't easily can be removed by water unless you rub it off. I haven't tried it on my lashline yet, but some people says that it's good.

Pros:

-Great & Intense color pay-off.
-Nice array of colors that can suit any mood & lifestyle you're into.
-The creamy substance can help application glides on smoothly & easily.
-No tugging which avoids having your lids wrinkled in the end.
-No Allergy reactions/itching/burning sensation or whatsoever.

Cons:

-It doesn't stay put for long, it does smudge & smears on me.
-It fades in just a small period of time, not a smduge proof/waterproof in my case.
-Eyeliners that need sharpening is already a downside. Automatic eyeliners are still the best.
-It's creamy texture has the risk of breaking off while sharpening it.
-A bit expensive for an eyeliner that doesn't live to what it claims.

Overall Verdict:

-A really nice eyeliner set for a makeup addict like myself but definetely not recommended for people who has oily lids nor people who lives in a humid country. Ironically, I thought this pencils was best for smudging. So i conclude it would be best if it was done along the upper lashline as what other reviewers says. The creamy texture doesn't go well with my skin but it doesn't mean i wouldn't be using them anymore. That's the reason why i bought them in travel size on the first place so i would be able to bring them along with me to have retouch in case they fades off. I'm in a state of experimenting the colors, I blend them with nice color of eyeshadows, it's very impressive especially if you done it well & with a good combination of lovely colors. These eyeliner pencils speaks to everyone's inner party girl.

Coping Up

Dear Readers:

I'm sorry for not updating this blog for a month. It's been awhile since the great typhoon "Ondoy" left us severely damaged. Not only our household stuff were destroyed, some of our pets; our lovebirds(I posted it in my blog last time about it)died during the flood, and it also left us emotionally and physically drained. We had lots of things to do, cleaning, bought new stuffs to replaced the damaged ones, and repaired broken stuffs. We were thankful to God that he left us unharmed despite what happened, lots of people especially our Church members gave us food & groceries during those times. We were very glad that these people showed their love & concern to us. Without them, we would have never been coped up that easily epecially we were in the midst of loneliness & frustrations. They were incredibly supportive throughout everything we've gone through.

I was so happy that after all what happened, our house is once again returning to it's normal & happy surroundings, though there's still part of our hose wherein you could see the crippled woods along our walls but the happy colors were already returning. My dad started to buy fishes to fill up our aquariums, and love birds!!! It's like we are starting all over again, and hopefully this will be the last disastrous thing ever will happen in our life.

Tropical Storm "Ondoy" Strikes Manila

The typhoon "Ondoy" Struck Manila on September 26, 2009. A Storm that caused such terror and devastation in countless homes & families here in the Philippines. It was raining hard for 5 hours straight or even more that streets were soon flooded and not long after lots of areas were asking for rescue. No one expected that this storm could cause so much damage and loss, people were given a little preparation and that's why many were affected that caused them their lives. 80% of people were affected by this devastating storm, and we're not an exception to it. Even in the high places were flooded, sadly those in the lower part of the city was seen on top of their roofs waiting for the rescue team. The storm has caused the worst flooding & greatest amount of rainfall in the country in over four decades. And local news shown a lot of places that were experiencing landslides, mudslides & rockslide, some people were not immediately evacuated that many of them died and buried hundreds of homes in the northern part of Luzon.

It was raining hard continously and the time i woke up around 9am, it was already flooding our garage. We were all in a state of panic because the flood was getting higher each minute. We were so confused which we would save first, coz our house, our office, warehouse, and scrapbook store-they are all in the same place. Sadly, not all our stuff was safe and some were drown by the flood. Even our cars that was parked in a very high place was drown and was seen the next day floating. Our appliances and furnitures were all damaged by flood, even all our food were destroyed. What hit me most is my Lovebird. While we were getting our scrapbook stock upstairs, i became so busy, even our helpers as well as my parents that we didn't got the chance to checked our 20 pairs of lovebirds. By the time they went there, all of them were drown by flood. I was so devastated and cried. If only I was there, i could save them all. The most painful part, is my tamed and trained lovebird died. His name is Tweety. He was handfed and was trained by me that whenever i was near his cage he would jumped down and tried to call me so i could freed him. He would just sit on my shoulder or go to my Dad's or Brother's hair. He would never try to fly away. Whenever I'm in our dining table, i would always bring him along with me, he would try to eat my fruits and bathe in my glass of water. He loves to nibble my lips and cuddle...Just imagine the bond we have! so after learning what happened, i was just crying and felt so guilty.

Photobucket

Photobucket
A picture was taken by my mom on Sunday Morning, right after the big flood. The water had already subsided. Our house was a total disaster! Even the cage of our chiuhuahua that was left outside our house was found inside the living room. Unbelievable!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Our Scrapbook store was a total mess! Lots of designer paper were muddied & crinkled. Some of our products were starting to get rusty and other items were totally destroyed by flood. 30-35% of our scrapbook stuff will go directly to the trash.

Photobucket
who would have thought that the flood would reach that high. Do you see the clock that was hanging on our wall? The flood was higher than that! so basically our whole 1st floor was flooded. The flood on our garage was more than 10 feet high, it was terrible!

Excursion at Caylabne Beach Resort

We went to Caylabne Beach Resort and stayed there for 2 days during August 30-31 during one of the excursion for career groups held by our church. Me & my sister was one of the late parties coz nobody informed us about it till the last minute. Well anyway, it was sunday noon right after our church meeting we went to our Church van and had the 2 1/2 hour trip to reach our destination.

Caylabne Beach Resort is located at Tenate, Cavite. The suites is structured in the Spanish Antillean tradition. Their accomodation is good, the room is cozy and has good facilities, it really gave us a good experience and memorable stay during our 1 1/2 day vacation. The ambiance is amazing, it's the moment to relax and the time to get away from City life. I really love that place and is also well known as one of the "Hot Tourist Spot" in Cavite. The Main restaurant offers a great view of the beach and the mountains. The place is convenient and accessible for everybody by offering variety of activities to people in all ages.

The best part to this recreation is "Swimming"! Took a swim at the pool after an hour we arrived, and another one was at night 9:30-11:30pm. It was super fun because nobody was in the pool but us, the best part? NO SUN! hahaha But that didn't stop me there, because the next morning i also took a swim with my sister and cousins from 10-3pm. It was so hot and had to reaapply sunblock every hour to prevent nasty sunburns. We didn't got the chance to try the beach because it was scorching hot and No shade that could hide us from the sun(I also heard that swimming in the beach can easily makes your skin darker unlike swimming in the pools). It's such a shame! I really really like to try their Jet-ski's and their other water activities.

A 1 1/2 day was not enough, there's still a lot of place to explore and activities to try but time is so limited. I really hope that i could go there again someday to have my vacation, it may not be soon because of busy schedules and the long trip but in the future. A Cherry-on-top this summer Vacation.

Shu Uemura Skin Purifier Fresh

What's This:

HIGH PERFORMANCE BALANCING CLEANSING OIL FRESH
-for combination to oily skin conditionsa lightweight cleansing oil that leaves the skin clean, fresh and refined. ideal for normal to oily skin types and acne-prone skin.

Perosnal Review:

Got the chance to try it first on a sample. I have heard this product for quite some time but haven't really give much thought on purchasing one. First, i'm doing anything..EVERYTHING.. to have my face free from oil, and just imagine that this product is actually an oil to cleanse your face. Shu Uemura is a pioneer in terms of beauty products, and i believe that they wouldn't sell something that would dissapoint their customers especially this product is a bit pricey..so i became so intrigued and was thinking that there's a secret greatness to it that people from all over the world are looking for this Cleansing oil. So by the time i have this packette sample i tried it at once.

I had no clue on how will i be able to have my face be cleansed with it, i was a bit hesistant at first and the moment i poured a generous amount of oil in my palms..i've tried the "Fresh" type and was amazed on it's scent. So I gladly rub it all over my face and made sure that i have distributed it evenly. I tried putting a little water on my face and it forms a milky texture, i rinsed it off and was surprised that my face was actually smooth and oil-free. It also removes my make-ups and accumulated dirt that was there before i used this wonderful product. I love it! There's no trace of greasiness along my face after i dried it off, and it maintained it's softness till morning after i woke up. It didn't experienced breakout after using it, which i normally would especially if i use heavy moisturizer..for sure that my zits would sprout out the next day!

Directions:

1. use 1-2 pumps of cleansing oil on dry hands.

2. spread gently and thoroughly over dry face.

3. add a few drops of lukewarm water to face to emulsify(oil will turn milky white).

4. rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Pros:

-It melts off all my makeup, but it takes a bit more work to get my mascara off.

-It nicely emulsifies with water and rinses clean better than you would expect.

-A bottle will lasts you pretty long.

Cons:

-For people who isn't used of using oil as cleanser may find it a bit weird, because after you rinsed it all off you'll feel as though there's still a residue of oil remained in your face.

-Expensive

Overall Verdict:

This is one of the best cleanser I've ever used . Nothing removes make-up as well as this. It's the only product that really removes absolutely all traces of make-up. I tried to swipe my face afterwards with toner on a cotton ball, and there's no make-up/dirt residues on it. No other cleanser I tried has done that. It also leaves my face feeling fresh, moisturized and clean. When used correctly this is the best thing out there for taking off makeup.

Benefits:

Cherry Extract- Refines skin texture by smoothing skin surface and helps bring radiance.

Fresh Aroma- Fresh, clean aroma based on sakura (cherry blossom), grapefruit and lily.

Deapsea Water- Found in the deep sea below depths of 200 meters. naturally provides moisture to skin, and helps to enhance skin transparency and improve skin quality.

Ingredients:

paraffinum liquidum / mineral oil , isopropyl myristate , c12-15 alkyl benzoate , peg-20 glyceryl triisostearate , dicaprylyl carbonate , ethyl oleate , sea water , prunus cerasus / bitter cherry extract , tocopheryl acetate , polysorbate 85 , peg-6 diisostearate , glycerin , capryl glycol / caprylyl glycol , propylene glycol , menthoxypropanediol , linalool , parfum / fragrance

New Style: Curly Hair

I was planning to have my hair rebonded 2 weeks ago, it's been more than a year since my last rebond so i decided to have one. I went to "Tony & Jacky" since they have this promo that I could have rebond using Loreal at 3,000 pesos only. While i was looking for some cool haircuts that I've been planning to have since, i stumbled into the page of Curl & Wavy Styles. I was a surprised on how cool their styles, it really fits for asian like me. So as the stylist was asking what style i prefer, i told him to have my hair curled instead.

At first, after i went out of the parlor i was a bit dissapointed of my new curls. First, I really really look like "LION KING". 2nd, my hair was shorten for 3+ inches, and 3rd, I really missed my long straight hair. But as soon as i learned how to style it myself...I really find it cute and a New Whole Look for me. I was happy that i decided to have a change on my hairstyle and will play with it for a while.:)

Back To The Future Trilogy(My All Time Fav Movie!)

Back to the Future 1

Marty McFly, a typical American teenager of the Eighties, is accidentally sent back to the year 1955 by a De Lorean "time machine" invented by “Doc” the scientist. He met both of his parents as teenagers and unintentionally interfere with their parents first meeting, and because of that her mother falls for him instead! He seeks help from “Doc” in 1950’s to help him get back to the year 1985, and he must get his parents fall in love with each other before he changes time forever, and destroys his own existence.

Back to the Future 2

After getting back to the year 1985, Marty and Jennifer take the time-traveling DeLorean into the year 2015 to straighten out the future of the McFly family. But Old Biff Tannen steals the time machine and gives his younger self a book containing 50 years of sports statistics, which the young Biff uses to amass an enormous gambling fortune and transform idyllic Hill Valley into a living hell. To restore the present, Doc and Marty must return to the events of their previous adventure in 1955 and retrieve the book.

Back to the Future 3

With the Almanac burned by Marty McFly and the time line back on its original course, things are not all well. Dr. Emmett L. Brown and the time machine were somehow struck by lightning, and Marty was somehow received a letter from Doc that he is okay, and in the year 1885. Marty and the 1955 Doc fixed up the time machine after digging it up from a mine, then Marty discovers a grave stone with Doc's name on it, indicating that he will be killed by a man named Beuford Tannen (Biff's ancestor). Marty makes an effort to travel to 1885 to save Doc from his bleak future. Unfortunately they forgot to bring the plutonium with them, Marty and Doc have to figure out to get back to the year 1985. Unfortunately, this will not be easy with Doc madly in love with a school teacher Clara Clayton, and with Beuford Tannen causing constant trouble for Marty and Doc.

My all time favorite movie..:) I’ve watched this trilogy for more than 30 times already and still loving it.:) I just can’t get enough of this movie and I never get bore everytime I watched this. A combination of Action, Sci-Fi, Romance, and Comedy will surely entertain viewers in all ages.

Q&A Portion: Beauty & Makeup Question

Q: What's your favorite brand of makeup?

A: There are many to mention since I love different kinds of brand but currently my favorite are Urban Decay, Lorac, Benefit Cosmetics & MAC.

Q: What Brand are you planning to try next:

A: Lots! But will have try these first: Kat Von D, Bare Escentuals, Laura Geller, Helena Rubinstein & Stila.

Q: What's your Morning Regimen?

A: Wash my Face with "Faceshop Rice Water Cleansing Foam" and pat it dry with a towel. I always put sunblock on my face whether rain or shine, and it should be at least SPF 30.

Q: How About your Night Regimen?

A: Before anything else, i always removed my make-up with my makeup remover. Always do facial scrub once-twice a week. I apply toner then use shiseido night cream & clinique all about eyes rich cream for a serious moisture undereye treatment.

Q: What is you makeup style?

A: It really depends. When i go to church, i make it as simple as possible. I swipe a chocolate brown across my lids, and highlight my browbone. A little contour for my cheeks and use nude colors for my lips. But whenever I'm at the mall or somewhere else, there's an endless possibility of styles that i always do.

Ninetendo Wii!!!!

I guess this is my lucky month! Just last week my Bf bought me a new PSP 3000! and i have lots of games to finish that would last me a long time. But just yesterday my mom bought us a new Nintendo Wii!!! After an endless promises of going to Hk for vacation that was planned for since last year and was always postponed for some reasons, my mom decided to buy us a new Nintendo Wii to make up for not going to HK this September...AGAIN!! And secondary reason, i could workout at home by playing the Wii active and Wii Sports! My mom couldn't let me out to have my workout at gym, she thought that working out at home could save time and money, cause traveling could eat up almost an hour just to go to the Gym.

Well anyway, we went to Greenhills and bought one at the same store where my BF bought the PSP 3000. It was such a good deal! My mom paid 13,500 for the basic package, 8 in 1 Sports pack, an extra wii remote and nunchak, free silicone/jacket bundel set, and 5 free games. I was so excited that i bought 6 more games!!!! I really got excited when i reached home, i coudn't wait for my Wii to be setup so i could tried all the games i bought.:) i can't decide which game would i tried first and keep on having this dilemma!!!!waaaahhh!!!! It is such an amazing month for me to received these wonderful gifts from my love ones and best of all i got them for FREE!!!! hehe

Product Review: Faceshop Rice water Cleansing Foam

They say:

A moisturizing and brightening cleansing line with rice water and Moringa oil. Moringa oil known as 'purifying tree' in India has very strong detoxifying quality. People used to put grinded Moringa plant in the polluted river water to detoxify.

Description:

Contains rice water(10%) Fit Protein orchid extract Vitamin B5 complex. Its creamy and cushiony texture eases handling and moisturizing ingredients leave skin feeling hydrated after cleansing by minimizing moisture loss.

Personal Reviw:

I never get tired of using this facial foam, it's nice and lathers away impurities, make-up, and accumulation of daily and nightly facial oil. The scent is light and powdery..It has a creamy and smooth texture with moisturizing ingredients that leaves skin hydrated and soft. Just a small amount of it could cover up my whole face, so it would take a long time for me before Ill buy another one again. Good for all skin types, I actually have a very sensitive skin and this product never fails me and instead it was better than I expected.

My New Toy!!!

Bf and i went to greenhills to look for a good package deal of PSP. While browsing various of stores the other day we managed to find one that has the best offer. So Bf bought one PSP 3000 for me yesterday as a gift!!! I'm so happy that i requested the store to install some games so i could play with it while going home. I was thinking of buying one for me since last year but was always postponed for some reason. Receiving this PSP (which has been in my wishlist for so long)from my Bf as a gift is certainly the most wonderful thing that happened this week.:) I couldn't believe he would be willing to spend much just to make me happy. I kept on sliding my fingers across the box and just staring at the picture shown in it as we ride all the way home. I chose the color "Organ Black" coz i really like the glossy texture of it. The features of it really catched my attention..I could play mp3, browse Pictures & videos, browse the net and add some cool applications to maximize the capability of it. Moreover, There are lots of cool games to choose from and it's wide screen provides better view on playing, surfing & watching videos. It's incredibly a great gift! Thanks bebe:D-Love it!

Product Review: Posietint

Posietint is the pink version of the most famous and bestselling, Benetint. When i first heard of this product, and saw the actual pic of it all over the net, i did a little research about it and look for a personal review of it. I saw that people prefer this over the predecessor that they're selling their half used product just to have this.

Personal Review:

-The bottle looks ravishing! It's coated with metallic pink finish that has a nail polish type applicator, which i find it easier to use. The product itself is somewhat creamy/milky, unlike benetint it has an inky texture. This is a product where less is most definetely more! A little of it goes a long way. The first time i tried using this, i put too much that i ended up looking like a clown.haha The pink effect of this blush fits to lighter skintones, it's buildable and imparts a nice glow after wearing for a couple of minutes. It also has a slight fragrance that smells really good on the cheeks. A really nice product but be cautious in applying, i tried putting 3 dots on my cheeks and it ends up the part on which i dotted becomes darker than the rest and it looks blotchy! Tried applying it in swipe but i ended up having a distinct stripe on my cheeks the whole day. So to make it even try putting in your fingers first before spreading it over your cheeks. It also strikes a nice balance between dewy and matte. So for people who has an oily skin be sure to dab a powder right after application. It also looks good on the lips, making it look natural with long lasting color that doesn't feel like wearing anything. The color of it makes you feel young, healthy & glowy.

Pros:

-The cream consistensy is a bit thicker and would give you enough time to spread it over your cheeks before it dries out.

-All natural look for both cheeks and lips.

- It really stays put all day.

Cons:

-The metallic finish on the bottle can chip off all over the place.

-The color of it doesn't compliment all skintones.

Overall Verdict:

-In all honestly, i personally like and prefer benetint rather than this. I'm not a big fan of a milky type and pinkish look since my natural blush is reddish tomato especially coming right after the gym. Though it's not my everyday blush, still it would look great in some occasions. Like the time when i want to have this barbie doll look, this blush would surely fit and suit my look and for my lips to get this baby pink pout. But i really admire this product as it provides just the right amount of color.

Product Review: Loreal Glam Shine Cream-Glam Red

I've never been a lipstick girl. I could count on my fingers the number of times that i applied lipstick in my whole life. And 85% of it was done by makeup artist to have my pictorial done and some are big occasions like debuts, proms and wedding parties. The reason, primarily is because i hated my lips! It's full and added from deep reds, sweet pink to barely there nudes would make it look too plump and would focus on my lips while wearing it. So i only have gloss and some lip moisturizer with me whenever i go. I really really hated my lips up to the point that i wanted it to be reduced by surgery..My mom already inquired and asked the price and how would be the procedure of it. But they advised us not to do it since it's one of my "assets".

Till one day, I was looking some stash of makeup on my mom's drawer and found a lipstick, i decided to try and put some on. I tried a Bright Deep Reds and to my surprised it looks good on me! So i immediately checked online to look for some lipstick and decided to try the Loreal Glam Shine Cream in Glam red. At first,i'm a bit hesistant to try using it while going out shopping. I'm not used to it since i always wore nude and sweet pink gloss over my lips. But i pulled it off by doing my makeup as simple as possible so it won't look too overdo.

Personal Review:

The silver box packaging of it stands out behind the counter, the lipstick itself is in a silver container with cute pink ring band between the bottom and the lid that makes it look elegant and classy. The product is glossy enough to make my lips appear soft and supple. It also provides all day hydrations that lasts for hours. The texture is creamy and rich, color is really pigmented that shines for hours. A combination of glossy and volume boosting effect really captures the heart of makeup addicts all over the world. It has a pleasant fruity smell that seems so addicting and would want to use it every given opportunity. What impressed me the most is that this wonderful product could conceal my chapped and dry lips because of it's creamy formula. It's staying power is pretty good, that i won't be needing to reapply time to time.

Tips:

-To make your lipstick lasts for long hours, apply lip liner first. That would surely help in making your lipstick stay put for long.

Product Review: Faceshop Brightening Rice Cleansing Water

Hi ladies! as you all know that it's a must for everyone to take their makeup off after a long hours of wearing it..and of course before going to sleep!!!! I really can't see the importance of it before until one day i started to noticed clog pores and my skin is starting to break out! I used to sleep with my makeup on cause i'm so lazy to remove it...i know i know..it's a big No-No but can't really blame myself especially if there are times that i'm about to collapse on my bed and i don't have the strength to take it off. And so when i'm starting to look for some mild makeup remover on "Faceshop" i decided to try their Brightening Rice water.:) I love that line! I already bought their brightening facial foam.

They say:

-Formulated with the traditional rice water once used by woman of the korean royal court, this concentrated cleansing water gently removes makeup while softening skin.

Directions:

-Moisten Cotton pad and gently wipe over entire face. Rince thoroughly with warm water.

Pros:

-It really removes all my makeups and accumulated dirt and oil.

-It leaves my skin smooth and soft.

-The fragrance is nice, no funky smell.

Cons:

-The pump type packaging makes it really hard to control the amount to be put on the cotton..that lots of times it exceeds and the rest would go waste

-I can't put it in my overnight bag and must be displayed upright or else it would leak.

Oerall Verdict:

-I really love this product! it's perfect and it can be used daily coz it does contain natural and mild ingredients that won't irritate the skin. This makeup remover can be used only for mild makeup applications, and heavier than that would be really hard to remove it all..so they also have the "Brightening Rice Cleansing Oil" for removing heavy makeups.:) And since i'm not putting on a lot on my face, this would be just perfect for me. It's widely available and you won't be missing this stuff! Once you tried it, believe me..there will be a second time of purchasing it! A bottle would last you long since you won't be needing a lot to have your makeup removed, just a generous amount of it and off you go! Better learn to control the pumps otherwise you'll end up having a soaked cotton balls.

Tips:

-Swipe using cotton pads/balls in upward motion, cause doing it the other way around has the tendency of wrinkling your skin or the danger of getting it sagged.

Movie Review: Transformers 2:Revenge Of The Fallen

Me & my bf originally planned to watch the movie on some luxurious cinema, but since there's an announcement of a coming typhoon..we ended up watching it at a regular cinema that is near to my place. We watched the movie "Revenge of the Fallen" on the day of the opening. We managed to buy a ticket and was seated on our desired seat along with our favorite food to snack on.:)

Got this from movieweb
Synopsis:

The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron's dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye.

Personal Review:

I think this sequel is better than the original. This movie is jam-packed with action and impressive display of special effects that leaves me gripping the edge of my seat. Some heavy explosions that blows stuff down and the shape shifting robots are absolutely feasts for the eyes! It's a real thrill for everybody to watch this highly-anticipated film that has dominated most of the cinema. I never expected it to be this good and for me to have my full attention on it since i'm not a fan of robots..but the concept of shape shifting robots really change my outlook on this movie. A 2 1/2 hours full of suspense, humour, sci-fi action, adventures and romance are all wrap up in one movie. I think it's better not to expect too much but rather enjoy every second of the movie and just let your imagination run wild after watching it rather than imagining what the outcome would be.:) A must-watch for everyone whose a Traansformer fans and people looking for some Big Budget Sci-Fi action movie.:)
